What To Expect

Shoju-in
Seijuin-Temple is located in the south country-side of area of Kyoto. Although it needs an hour drive from Kyoto downtown, it's definitely worthwhile. It's the view of famous love-heart window in the tea room, which has been buzzed on Instagram many times. In this small mantra-Buddhist temple of 800 years, you can actually enter and walk inside the historical temple rooms known to be one of the most traditional Japanese styles. *700 yen as entry-fee and parking included in the tour!

Wazuka-cho
The impressive "green" views of beutifully planted fields of Kyoto original green "Uji" tea are often introduced on Instagram and photographic websites as "one of the world best views" or "views you must see before you die". This place is located country-side of Kyoto Pref. where only accessible by cars. We can stop the car and you can get into the middle of fields.

Iwafune Shrine
Iwafune (stone-ship) Shrine is a small shrine of worshipping two huge rocks (12x12m) sitting as a holy ship in the area, located in a valley of Ikoma Mountains of Nara. This thousand-year-old shrine expresses the spirit of fearness and respect to nature of Japanese people very well while it's known importantantly for the arrival site of first Japanese gods sent from heaven.

Hozan-ji Temple
About halfway up the slopes of Mount Ikoma in Nara prefecture lies the beautiful temple complex of Hozan-ji, shrouded in incense smoke and intrigue. Dedicated to Kangiten, a Buddhist god of joy and prosperity, it’s particularly popular with those praying for success and luck in business.

Despite the ease of access from Osaka and Nara cities, Hozanji Temple remains firmly off the tourist track. This means it retains an air of tranquility even during the holiday season, giving visitors the time and space to fully explore all the small nooks and interesting features in the complex.

Shingisan Chogosonshiji Temple
Here is a kingdom of dreamy temples and shrines. The complex ways are nostalgically lit by stony lanterns of shrine. The driver will lead the walkways to go round if you prefer. Don't miss the beautiful garden fully colored in autumn. You can even climb up to the sacred mount-top in 15-20 min by walking through the countless gates of shrines in the dark exactly like the old monks or ninjas on training.
