Our Tea ceremony house is located in front of zen Temple-Daitokuji. it takes just 10 minutes on foot from the temple. Our authentic-traditional tea house and special instructor ensure that you enjoy the complete tea ceremony experience. Also, many of Kyoto best- known tourist attractions, museums, shops, and restaurants are just minutes away from our tea house– which means this is a perfect place to experience for visitors and tourists alike. The Special instructor will perform How to make powered green tea and drink manner. and explain the history of tea culture. You will learn about Harmony, Reverence, Purity, and Tranquillity during the tea ceremony.

By seeing the tea flower in the vase, your sight is cleaned; by listening to the boiling of water in the iron kettle and to the dripping of water from the bamboo pipe, your ears are cleaned: by tasting tea your mouth is cleaned.
